What You'll Notice

introducing circadian aligned lighting into your home creates a feeling, before you can explain it.

days inside now feel more like outside, supporting your flow-state, focus, and productivity.

evenings become cozy and feel candlelit. the living room becomes a family room.

at night deep red is enough to see by, yet gentle enough that a trip to the kitchen doesn't jolt you awake.

most people notice the evenings first. then they start noticing every other bulb in the house needs to be replaced.

Daylight
Flicker-free light that mimics the natural spectrum of the Sun to support circadian rhythm.

The Light Bulb that follows The Sun

Title
380 0K DAYLIGHT

Day Mode

Day Mode is where THE BULB really shines. Most bulbs flicker constantly and use the same harsh blue wavelengths as your phone screen. THE BULB only uses wavelengths that mimic the suns. The result is natural-feeling light that supports flow-state and a strong circadian rhythm throughout your day. You'll have to feel. it to believe it.
Title
1600K DEEP AMBER

Amber Mode

Enjoy a rich amber glow with that mimics the soothing tones of a natural sunset. This means your body gets the signal to start winding down for the night. Use this. mode when the sun sets, during dinner, or watching TV before bed. This mode is slightly dimmed for peak coziness..
Title
660NM DEEP RED

Night Mode

Pure deep red. The easiest way to support melatonin is to avoid blue light in the evening. Night Mode has you covered with enough light to see without wrecking. your sleep cycle. Use this mode an hour before bed to enjoy your favorite late-. night activities or reading a good book..

Learn more about The Bulb

Can I use The Bulb with a dimmer?

You can use it in a socket that has a dimmer if the dimmer stays at full power but The Bulb V1 does not support dimming.

We dimmed the amber and red modes for you, by default.

Modes and Controls.

How do I change the setting?
Your existing wall or lamp switch.

How does that work exactly?
Cycling the power steps you through the modes. Flick it off and back on to move to the next one. It always starts on Red.

What if the bulb has been off for a while?
After six seconds off, it always comes back on red. So you don't blast yourself with the daytime spectrum walking into the bathroom at 2am.

What are the three modes?
Day is the full daytime spectrum. Evening is amber. Night is pure red.

Aren't LEDs bad for you?

The valid complaint about LEDs is usually one of two things: the spectrum or the flicker. Neither is inherent to the technology.

Most LED bulbs are built to hit a brightness number at the lowest possible cost, which gets you a hard spike in blue, a hole where violet should be, and a driver that flickers.

LED is also the only technology that lets us put three distinct spectrums inside one screw-in bulb and move between them with the switch you already have on the wall. That's the trade we made. The answer to a badly built LED is a well built one.

So why not incandescent?.

An incandescent gives you a warm spectrum and real near-infrared. It also gives you exactly one spectrum, all day, forever. THE BULB is built around the idea that the light should change as the day does. If you want incandescent-style NIR, run both, they're solving different problems.

Incandescent is great and has its place, this is the background signal in the rest of the house.

Is The Bulb flicker-free?

Yes it's flicker-free. Flicker index at 2ft: 0.0036
